Sprout Stir Fry

Sprout Stir Fry (Serves 4)

Best eaten while the steaks are still hot and juicy




1 tablespoon light oil
750g rump steak, trimmed, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups (100g) snow peas
1 punnet snow pea sprouts
1 tablespoon finely chopped mint
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1-2 tablespoons sugar, to taste


1. Heat the oil in a wok or wide based pan
2. Brown the steak, remove from pan
3. Saute the snow peas for 3 minutes or until bright green and tender
4. Add the snow pea sprouts, mint, lemon juice and sugar
5. Add steak and toss all ingredients
6. Serve immediately
